Grade 1 GMA pallet – We recycle and sell grade 1 GMA pallets that are 48x40 in size. A grade 1 pallet has been used a few times but is still in good condition. Pallet must be bright wood with not much if any grey wood. Typically the pallet cannot exceed 30 to 40 percent grey wood. Pallets cannot contain contaminants such as paint, grease, tar and other contaminants. Stringer pallets must be solid and not have any mending plates or skinny boards. Boards must be thick and not cracked. Any splitting lumber is unacceptable. Nails cannot be raised or sticking out of the wood.
Grade 2 GMA pallet
- We recycle and sell grade 2 GMA pallets that are 48x40 in size. A grade 2 pallet is one that has been repaired. As a repaired pallet, some of the boards may not be consistent
. The wood on a grade 2 pallet is a mix between bright wood and grey wood. The stringer pallets we have in stock are solid and can be a cheaper option. Grade 2 pallets are repaired but all the boards are secure. Unacceptable pallets would have splits and cracks in the wood. Nails must also not be raised or sticking out of the wood.
